My name is Nick Girimonte, and I grew up in Windsor, CA before moving to Fort Worth, TX in 2021 to pursue my passion for media and communication. I am currently a senior at Texas Christian University, majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Journalism, set to graduate in May 2025. My journey has been driven by a love for storytelling, sports, and connecting with others through various forms of media.

I am fortunate to have gained diverse hands-on experience in the field. As an on-air talent for Frogs Today, I cover TCU sports and collaborate with a talented team to engage fans on multiple platforms. I also write for Sports Illustrated’s Killer Frogs network, where I focus on TCU athletics and host the weekly “Frog Fever” podcast, primarily covering TCU basketball. These roles have allowed me to hone my writing, public speaking, and social media engagement skills.

In addition, my work with the TCU Football video crew has provided me with a unique perspective on sports media production. Over the past three seasons, I've helped capture game footage and provide video analysis to the team, working with Final Cut Pro and other tools to support the coaching staff.

Beyond campus, I've also had the chance to work with some incredible organizations. As a College Brand Ambassador for the Texas Rangers, I leveraged my personal social media channels to support the team’s marketing campaigns and engage with fans. My internship with Barstool Sports allowed me to take on a leadership role as the TCU Barstool Brand Affiliate, where I organized events to grow TCU Athletics’ visibility while managing social media content for @BarstoolTCU. Additionally, during my Communications internship at Austin Industries, I helped enhance brand visibility through the creation of press releases, blog posts, and social media content, contributing to both internal and external communication strategies.

As I approach graduation, I am actively seeking internship opportunities for the summer of 2025 in media, sports, or communications, and am excited to continue growing in a fast-paced, creative environment. I am open to relocating and eager to bring my passion, creativity, and strong work ethic to new challenges.
